Another Snow Storm?!
So, we have another snow storm here in New York and my body feels like one massive bruise from having to wake up and shovel for about an hour, but a hot cup of mocha hot chocolate proved to be the perfect remedy for my sore body and frost bitten fingers. Hopefully, the snow stops soon (although I heard it wasn't going to stop until Thursday) because it may be beautiful but it's also a pain to shovel, not to mention I HATE the cold. Hope everyone is staying safe and warm!

Old Hollwood Glamour
So on top of visiting family, finishing school work, and watching the olympics, I've managed to watch some old hollywood movies and see some pictures of past stars and I think I've fallen in love. Old hollywood glamour is really inspiring and people just weren't afraid of anything. It was bold, brash, and beautiful.

Happy Lunar New Year
So life has been crazy with all the preparations and parties and customs that had to be done, attended, and followed respectively, but it's always nice getting together with the whole family and being able to squeeze the Olympics into our schedule still. Ralph Lauren did a great job with the opening ceremony outfit for the USA team and Canada's outfit was really nice too. However, I'm not really loving USA's speed skating outfit (the baby blue is just blah) and a little perturbed by the USA ski suit (star crazed much), but the men's speed skating finals was epic and the women's mogul was very exciting as well. Anyways, here are some more sketches I've done.

Trbute to Alexander McQueen
A suggestion was giving to me to draw a tribute to Alexander McQueen. It wasn't the first time that the thought had crossed my mind, but I was hesitant to draw his works for fear that my drawings would do him no justice but after a few more urgings, I finally relented and drew. McQueen was an amazing designer of unsurpassed vision, creativity, and innovation. There will never be another designer like him.

Snow Days
It's been absolutely beautiful here in NY despite the freezing cold and my sore muscles from shoveling. But, the fact that I had no school for two days more than made up for all that. It was nice to just sit home and relax...but the all consuming white outside gave me the urge to draw something warmer and more colorful and thus here are the results of my dabbling.
